Job Description

JDE is looking for talented and confident individuals with collaborative and entrepreneurial approach who will join our supply chain team from our North Oxfordshire, Banbury site to make a real impact with our customers. The Apprenticeship Programme is an exciting opportunity to shape your career and help you reach your full potential. We do this by offering exposure to a breadth of experiences including data analysis, root causing, customer forecasting, service reporting & driving collaboration with our Commercial contacts. Your responsibilities will evolve over the course of your apprenticeship.

Responsibilities: The apprenticeship programme

  • As is common practise with apprenticeships, you will the majority of your time gaining experience within roles across the supply chain functions and 6 hours a week studying, self-learning or with our partner university.
  • This study time will primarily be online from home, with block release for in person lectures and workshops roughly once per quarter. All travel & accommodation is covered by JDE.
  • In your first year you will learn the principles of supply chain including finance, operations, planning, forecasting and demand management.
  • Starting in Customer Service and gaining critical experience and/or rotating into key Supply Chain areas including: Demand Planning, Logistics, Material Planning and Co-Pack in order to set you up as a fully rounded supply chain expert!
  • At the conclusion of the course you will have reached the required standard to receive a full Bachelors degree from a UK University in addition to membership of a professional body.

Qualifications

In order to be eligible to apply for this apprenticeship, you must have or be predicted to achieve 3 A Levels A-C in any subject or a BTEC with Distinction, Merit, Merit (or equivalent).

You must also have a /GCSE qualification at grade 4/C or above in both Maths and English.

Additional Information

We are interested in candidates for a January 2023 Start date at this time. We will open applications for a September 2023 start date in early January
