Job Description

As part of the PRO Finance team you will have the chance to get involved in the financial analysis and reporting of our local organization.

Reporting to PRO Country Manager GR and closely partnering with PRO Business Controller GR you will be responsible to provide accurate and data-based information on company’s profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. You will process and analyze financial information to help company make well informed decisions, write reports and monitor financial movements.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
  • Participation during annual operation plan (AOP) & monthly forecast updates (S&OP)
  • Period end closing involvement, collaboration with FEC to safeguard closing processes & monthly financial schedules submission
  • Track and determine financial status by analysing actual results in comparison with forecasts
  • Reconciliation of Customers rebates to ensure accurate reporting, monthly accruals monitoring
  • Strong collaboration with Sales & Marketing, BI reporting of actuals, A&Ps monitoring, NPDs evaluation  
  • Contribute to monthly management report preparation; ad-hoc business reports creation to cover business needs & KPIs monitoring
  • Supporting Finance team in ad hoc needs to better pursue business opportunities towards achieving company’s targets and improving processes standardization
  • Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • SG&As budget preparation & monitoring
  • Defining and monitoring procedures related to accounting, invoicing, etc.

 

 

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field
  • Experience 1-2 year experience in a similar position;
  • Robust  Analytical skills. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
  • Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Experience in SAP & IFRS will be considered an asset
  • Fluency in Greek and English
  • Excellent communication skills and team-player spirit
  • Learning on the fly in a fast-paced business environment
